I have been a gold member on bladeforums for a few years. One one post you made mentioned that we could get a free trial subscription to Knife World.

HOLY SMOKES! What a great publication! I went online and bought a membership this evening.

Maybe you should recommend that more often!

Great info, and not the same "tactical" crap I have found in other publications.

Now for the real hoot- I gave the first issue I received to my Dad (a collector for 60+ years, nothing too fancy), and he loved it so much that we got the gift subscription for him!

Thanks for tunring us onto the #1 Knife info publication out there.

Every couple of months I throw the link up too.

They are the only knife magazine I subscribe to anymore, (and I've subscribed to them all) I can see the new knives on the internet and read about them on BFC but for info and the old time feelin' that came from sittin' 'round the porch tradin' knives and stories it can't be beat.

They list most all the shows, most, all the clubs and their meets, BRL's, "Whut Izzit" has been the most entertaining and informative reads I've had in an analog publication in a long time.

BTW next to The Old Farmers Almanac, it is the #2 most popularly found readin' material in the throne.
