Hello all. I have seriously been thinking about getting one of these. I was just curious for those that have bought one what your thought were on them compared to the g-10 versions. Is it still pretty sturdy without steel liners?
Thanks
Steeley

I've carried mine only a few times. I love the wire clip. And, it's VERY lightweight (especially for a knife that size). I've not used it for any "heavy" chores... Just the typical package opening. I think it's a cool knife.

Good picture — thank you for posting it!

I plan on getting one of these soon.

A Manix 2 finally replaced the Native 2s I carried for years, including the last time I deployed. Great knife. The Translucent, I like even more than the standard. Lighter, still VERY strong, grippy but not abrasive to skin or pants. LOVE this knife.

And Afghanistan is hard on all tools. Keeps an edge, resharpens easily.

This is a knife I have been looking for for about two years. I had to bust the budget and buy one. I was lucky Grand Prairie Knives had a canceled order, and I was able to pick one up when I dropped by today!:D

This knife is like a feather! I believe it is lighter than my BM530!

Just got mine and I love it. I like it as much as my sprint run and moonglow manix 2s. The steel is different it looks more fibrous at the edge. FYI, I prefer manix 2 to para 2. I do like my smurf blue para though. They will relegate my basic Para 2 to a carving and beat up knife.

I think it is a decent knife. Feels plenty sturdy for a lightweight model.

Here is a video I posted with my thoughts on the knife:
