Well, almost anyway.

Today was a good day, as I picked up 3 tools. I ordered a Husqvarna Forest Axe and a Hatchet from my local Husky dealer. Got a call today saying they were in. A little less then retail price, but I'm ok with that. They'll need a bit of edge work, but they'll still cut you now.

While I was on a popular buying and selling website, actually looking for vises, I found an ad for a GB Broad Axe. Now, I don't really have a need for a Broad Axe, but the price he had listed made me need a Broad Axe. Like right now. I had just contacted the seller when I got the call saying my other 2 were in at the Husky dealer.

Off I go in pursuit of chopping tools. 10 min later, 2 Husky's in hand, I contact the seller again. Long story short, $120 later I have an unused GB Broad Axe. :eek: I almost feel like a thief.

Very nice, I recently found a local dealer of Husky axes, (well, half hour drive away local)
 
I'd like to try a GB broad axe. They're so different from all of the American/Canadian patterns.
 
wooow.... what a sweet set.
Now all you need is one good wood splitter and you're good to go.
 
man, twice that for the GB broad axe would have been a good deal. I know........I paid retail for mine last year! guess that makes you a winner (and, therefore, makes me a loser!).

Thanks y'all. I don't think I've ever gotten a deal like this before. I am usually the one who called just after it sold.

Now I gotta go find something to chop.
