I want to know why i get an infraction for making a comment in a sales thread, yet so folks do this all day long in sales threads.

they compliment the maker on the knife with no intention of buying it. they talk about how nice the knife is to them with no intention of buying it too.

Yet, i check the profile info for these people and i never see an infraction levied against them for the same thing i have done. i get it that i am guilty, what i have an issue with is that tons of other folks are far more guilty than I am and they are left alone/not hit with an infraction

Sales in the Knifemakers FS area allow commentary.
Sales in the individual FS area does not allow commentary.
Members cannot see each others infraction record, so you will not see others infractions.

You were given a warning, not an infraction.

That would be an easy rule to break if you haven't read the rules thoroughly. That was nice of the mod to give you a heads up/warning instead of an actual infraction though.:thumbup:
They don't always give you a warning (I know )
I guess that rule allows knifemakers to get feedback on their knives while preventing a lot of unnecessary chatting in FS threads for mass produced knives.

Ok, i admit i was wrong again.
yet, since the area used for the warning says infraction i considered it an infraction ... I'm guessing i can't be the only one to think so who wasn't a forum veteran.

wow the smiley's have restrictions too lol. never saw that coming or heard of that before online.

considering my clinically bad recall i might have to stop using smileys. i can't keep small issues liKe that in front of my brain because i have a hard enough time concentrating on the more important stuff frankly. shoot i often get confused these days i admit. my brain often is like a hard drive with a virus that comes and goes as it chooses. it's not fun and i know it's my problem. just giving a little disclosure cause i'm gonna make another mistake in time i can guarantee it. yet, it will not be done on purpose though or out of disrespect I can assure you.

I understand better now the difference in areas. since my recall issue is not gonna go away i'll try to refrain from comments now to simplify things for me while trying to obey the rules here. I don't know what else i can do.
