Feeling a bit down tonight, so I fondled a knife or two...

There's nothing like going through one's knife drawer (kind of like a sock drawer, but much more dangerous) to raise a cheer. That and a big glass of good port. I took some photo's while I was still sober enough to find the camera.

Here's my small collection of Busses...

There used to be more, but I've had to let a few go :(

Here are a few NBK's that wanted to come out and join in the getting plastered and playing with sharp knives session...

These photos might answer a few 'will my Busse fit in a Spec-ops sheath' questions. I haven't quite managed to get the FBM in one yet

Anyway, back to the port and stropping.

nice setup man, there are not many things that are better than breaking out the collection over a few drinks:thumbup:

great looking collection. i just pulled out my humble collection and put it away not 15 minutes ago.
i love them all -but it seems there is always room for one more ;):thumbup:

ah just something about handling a good blade that just puts one in a good mood :) same for FNs, and 1911s... nice pieces

Nice Busse knives. Yea, that can cheer anyone up. I do that sometimes.
Nice Pathfinder by the way, I got one of them too =)

Where are the folders??? You definitely need a folder for this X-mas :D

Great fixed collections!!!

Lots of nice stuff there, both BK and NBK. That Ritter FB is good looking.

On a cold winter night, after a glass of Port, you should be fondling a Mistress.

Nice collection you've got there. I see some airgun pellets in the back. What airgun do you shoot. I've had several theobens one in 25 cal. Man what a crow killer it is.

Thanks for the kind comments everyone!

d762nato, I've not owned a Theoben but by all accounts they are fine weapons. My main rifle is an Air Arms S410 in .22. It has a few added extras including a nicer stock and more effective suppressor. It's almost silent to shoot; hitting a target 25 yards away is louder!

The pathfinder is one of the very few knives I still have from my 'younger days'.

I made a special trip to one of the few knife shops in England to buy a Chris Reeves Jeroboam - when they were first being made. I was about 17 and had saved up for quite a while for it. They didn't have one in stock but they did have the pathfinder in a glass display case. I couldn't resist it!

It's cleared many a wild campsite (once in densely-packed, head-high reeds that I cleared a ten-foot circle in - that made a great bed) and chopped much firewood. Before the days of 'knives are evil and illegal' in Britain it lived strapped to the side of my Berghaus Vulcan. Those were the days!

Rick that's a beautiful air rifle congrats. We can't have sound moderaters on our air rifles here in the states. Pretty cool setup though.
