Feeling VERY dumb

OK How many of you have made THIS mistake?

I ordered a new Ultrafine stone for my Spyderco M204 - Notice the mistake? I ordered ONE stone, thinking I was ordering a pair - Oh well, I just ordered another ONE

I almost did that myself, but I got lucky and caught the mistake.

It's too bad you can't order just one of the diamond rods though..for some reason you have to order two...
 
I did the same thing a couple of weeks ago. I ordered over the net and spyderco got back to me to check and see if I actually needed two crocks instead of just one. Now that's customer service.
 
Man. . .I'm glad that I'm not the only one (no pun intended). The box arrived and I can only imagine the expression on my face when I pulled only one stick out of the box ! :(

My wife got a real big kick out of it ! :o
 
This is a pretty cool coincidence... a few days ago, my 2 year old son came up and grabbed my two white rods while I was not paying attention. A few clinking sounds later I was left with one full sized white rod and 2 "half sized" ones! :eek:

Where do you order just one? That's all I need, and I was told at my local B&M knife store you have to order them by the pair. (and at $35!)
