Hi there i am literally minutes away from buying a spyderco cricket. does anyone have any thoughts or feelings that can influence my purchase in any way? or better small knives for the same price?

This knife has been on my short list for awhile and i have talked to a lot of owners... I have never met anyone who didnt like this knife. It's supposed to be a really good little framelock that can do some work

I have the etched version and I really like it. It's surprisingly comfortable to use.

Thanks guys I think im going to get it. Little less scary to the Sheeple then my D'allara :P

I would get it...ive been pondering getting one for a while...i hear nothing but good about them:D

I picked one up, expecting to like it... and it ended up being a big meh. Doesn't quite fit my hand, and I find that I only ever use the very tip of the blade. I haven't found anything where the entire big fat pregnant belly of the knife comes into play.

Then you don't cut enough :D

Just kidding

I really like my Etched Cricket, great money clip. It's super thin, opens and closes very nice. The tip is great for small things such as mail. The bellie is great once you need to cut into something bigger. Slices through card board like any sharp v10 would.

Cons would be sharpening do to the extreme S curve and just perhaps too small for those with big hands.

If you don't like I can take it for you ;]

I have one of the CF versions. Nice little knife. Don't even notice it's in the pocket.
