I know that these knives caused a bit of a stir in the Wilderness & Survival Skills forum, but I just wanted rvryone to get a look at these knives. I am very impressed with how these knives look and would love to see more on how well they perform. A little info on F-3V would be nice as well.

Here is a picture of the Last Chance. This version has a 5.5" blade and is 11" overall. It has a Linen Micarta handle.

I have not seen the sheaths so I don't know how good they are.

This one is the 3.5" bladed Peace Maker. It is 7.5" overall.

These look to be real well built knives and if anyone knows more about them I would love to get the scuttlebutt.

Looks like a fire frill divot on the handle, neat feature.

Ron Hood has a short review over at his forum at www.survival.com

It would be very cool if the steel was sin fact CPM 3V, as some have suggested, or S30V.
Take care Keith.

Keith, regarding your signature, you should know that Paramedics and EMTs also lost their lives trying to save innocent people that horrible day, and yet they have been virtually unrecognized in all media accounts. I don't want to be anybody's hero, but it has irked me to no end watching everybody act like the firefighters and police were the only public servants who lost their lives trying to help people. Who do you think took care of the injured police and firemen?? It was the Medics. I realize that the loss to EMS was no where near as numerous as the loss to the Fire Dept, but we still do not deserve to be forgotten about. Just wanted you to know, because the media sure isn't going to mention it.

A little off topic? ????? What does any of that have to do with Fehrman knives? Your comments to Keith, while well intentioned(and I agree with you), probably would have been best sent in a private email.

Mike, you are correct and I apologise for this error of omission. Without a doubt the paramedics and EMTs were heros on 9/11 and are so every day. I have edited my signature.

Now, what do you think of Fehrman knives?:)

Well, I'm sorry if I have wasted server bandwidth, but I felt the Paramedics and EMTs who lost their lives that day deserved more than one set of eyes which is what would have happened if a private e-mail was sent. Now, whoever reads my post will be a little better informed, and will maybe give Emergency Medical Personnel a little more thought in the future when they are talking about the FF and Police that died. This just happened to be the first time I saw a post of his and read his sig line. I took the chance to stand on my soap box, and used it. I know that Keith meant no disrespect to EMS workers with his sig line. It is just an example of how misinformed the media and general public are. Now, hopefully, I have opened a handfull of people's eyes.

Keith,

The knives look very nice, and thanks for the addition. It may seem small in nature, but a lot of us have felt hugely betrayed by the media's lack of acknowledgement to EMS's loss that day.

Thank's again,

And, I'm sorry if I came across as a little harsh. People around here that know me, know that I am not like that.:footinmou
