Fehrman Questions

Hi all

I am about to but a Fehrman and like the first strike and scout. I have a couple of questions for those familiar with these knives, for a start :

How badly and quickly will the satin finish rust ?

How easy are they to resharpen ?

I have never had a problem with rust,as I wipe the blade down after use.

Sharpening is something I havent had to do, I have just used a strop to bring the bite back to the edge,this is with the one Final Judgement I have used for close to 2 years.

Brendan,
All the Fehrman blades can usually be lightly stroped to bring a blade edge back to razor sharp, whether you use cardboard, leather or fine ceramic. If an edge would be heavily worn a fine diamond file works nicely. The "satin" finish is basically bare steel coated with a high quality corrosion inhibitor. Sorry about the mix up on the phone!
