The Izula scales helped a lot.
The knife is much more comfortable, and I can still put it in the (modified) sheath.

The holes lined up perfectly, but I had to use the hardware from a RAT 3 to attach the scales since the ESEE hardware was too big.

nice pictures of your Fehrman Thru-Hiker! Those Izula scales look pretty small. :)

The Izula is a small knife.:)

They worked perfectly for my setup. I needed scales that allowed the T-hiker to fit in the sheath while attached to the FJ. Had the scales been any longer, the knife wouldn’t have fit in this rig.

I had wrapped the Thru-hiker in paracord earlier, but didn’t like the result. Plus, I don’t like the way paracord handles soak up blood and other nasty liquids. These scales solved the problem.
