Who has a Fehrman Thru Hiker and is willing to share pictures, opinions, and experiences? .... and who knows how heavy it is?

Got one a month or two ago, and I love it. Bigger than I would normally carry for a neck knife; I would call this more of a small belt knife. Not heavy, but it is over 7" long. I can't post any pics of mine, as I'm in the process of removing the black coating(hate that stuff). The knife itself is CPM3V, ground very nicely, and very sharp. I consider it a bargain for the price. The kydex sheath is not the best, but works decently.

Danbo, is the Thru Hiker 3/16" thick? That would make it quite a stout little knife. And are the edges chamfered like on the other Fehrmans?

Yes, and yes. :)

Thanks! I just might bend my own rule (no neck knives over 6 in) and pick one up. AFIK, it is the only knife around, made from S3V and priced in the vicinity of $100.

A very solid neck knife. Very easy to carry and one of my standard carries now
