Basically it has to do with one's person's uses/tastes. Why do you think knife makers make so many different knives??? Same principle.
For example:
Like in my case , I've thrown all mine. The VNTac is the BEST thrower. The Brend is the best discreet carry. The RRspike is the best field tool. And the NG spike is the best "balancing act" between the VNTac & RRspike.
(NOTE: this is just my own opinions)
So you have to ask yourself:"what do I plan to do with my hawk??"
and then go from there!!!
