I posted this in the Spyderco sub-forum (http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=787271), but I thought I'd share it here as well for those of you who don't visit that forum much. If duplicate posts are a no-no, then mods please delete and accept my sincere apologies.

When I started collecting knives (in a serious manner) back in the early 1990's, I was infatuated with one-hand opening knives -- Spydies and BM's in particular. But as the years went on, I sold or traded most of my Spydies but kept most of my BM's. Eventually, I got my first Sebenza (about 4 years ago). I EDC'd a BM940, and then a small Sebenza, from 2002 until yesterday . . . when I fell back in love with Spyderco.
Yesterday, I had a face-to-face meeting with another BF member, and I traded him for a Sage 1 and a Sage 2. I traded him 3-for-2, so I'm sure he's pleased with the trade as well. As for myself, I am absolutely thrilled with my new Spydies! Spyderco did a superb job with every aspect of the Sage models, and, rest assured, these will top my EDC rotation for some time to come. I'm especially infatuated with the CF Sage 1. Needless to say, I'm in love with Spyderco . . . again.
