fencing blade making/manufacturing

Hello everyone,

I hope to find some advice on fencing blade making and someone who has expertise in manufacturing blades. It will be much appreciated if somebody could help.

You really have to use a maraging steel, which means no carbon, or VERY little.
Google maraging steel, and see if you can find a local supplier that can sell you a piece that is useable.

Why maraging steel?

Because it can flex enough without breaking.

I have made one epee and two foils. ( I am assuming that you know the difference? )
Blades only, and the buyer did the rest.
