Just got my new EDC light, a Fenix E12. It's pretty small and fits nice in my pocket or even on my keychain. It's got 3 modes, Low, Med, and High which is nice... the low could be a bit lower but the high is very bright, putting out like 130 lumens from a single AA. Overall it's a super nice little light and the perfect size for what I want. Just feels like a good quality light in your hand, I'm gonna be carrying this one for a while! Can't go wrong with a Fenix.
Anyone else have one? What do you think? Had any problems?

Here's a pic of it next to my new 14

I recently added a couple to my old L1T. With that I can get light without clicking it. The E12 has to be pushed all the way and click it .It may just be something to get used to. Both models are a very good compromize between size, weight and power .Throw it in your pocket and forget about it .You can also hold it in your mouth if you need two hands. You can find AAs anywhere.

Yeah that's why I opted for AA because they are so easy to find. And I wasn't too worried about reverse clicky or forward clicky on this light. Would have been nice but it'll make a nice addition to my EDC.
In my opinion though a Fenix is a Fenix! Bound to be a good light no matter which one!

Great light but I wish they made the holes for the lanyard bigger to accommodate a small key-ring.

Yeah they could be a bit bigger but I have a small split ring on mine so I can clip it to my bigger split ring. Just gotta find a small enough split ring for it.

I carry an older Fenix LOD. It has high, medium, low with strobe and sos. Best light I ever had. It's powered by an AAA batt. I like the smaller size. Kinda disappears in my pocket. I also have a Photon on my keychain. I'm 59, never wore glasses all my life until I got to be about 45. Then, your arm isn't long enough and the light isn't bright enough to read or do intracut (sp?) tasks.
I also have brighter and bigger ones. These are just my everydays.

I just picked one up to replace my E11 that I gave away. For me its perfect, since most times I left the 11 in low mode, and often I just need a little light. Adjustment is easy, I don't need any super-high-speed-low-drag-tactical features. Ran a bit of cord through the lanyard holes for a lanyard instead of the supplied one.

Comparing it to my other fenixs and the 2014 E05 I just had delivered, I like having some features, and low long runtimes are great. I don't think I'll use the bright mode on the E05 much, but its nice to have it. The E12 will be a great companion to a headlamp out in the woods. I find two lights makes things less visually cluttered.

small stainless spit rings? fishing stores.
