Has anybody purchased one of these? I've been doing a lot of digging lately trying to find a replacement for my dated PT Solo and its a toss up between the HL20, EOSR-T and the UK Vizion for various reasons. The first and foremost requirement is durability followed by a high high and a low low.

Reason I'm asking about the HL20 is specifically the plastic mounting tabs that the light body clips into. Without seeing it in person all I can do is be...reserved.. about their possibly durability. Can anybody comment on this? Would you expect them to hold up over time (and tempurature) or are they possibly a very real failure point?

They seem pretty solid to me. I would expect the same life out of the mounts as you would see with any of the plastic adjustment points from Petzl, Black Diamond, Princeton Tec, etc.

Fenix is a lower cost Streamlight. They are made in China but have excellent quality control.

How do you figure? For starters, the Fenix uses 1 AA not 3. Second the mount system is different. Unless I'm missing something, I don't see any Streamlight headlamps which resemble the Fenix in anything other than APPEARANCE.

Really wish somebody could comment on the mounting in more depth. I lvoe the form factor of 1AA as well as the more effecient LED compared to the EOS or the UK, but I'm really tempted to go with the UK since its available for under $30 now.

I have considered ZL, though they are a little bit more than I was looking to spend... Might be worth the money, though. So many good things are said about them!
