Fenix LD20 loose glass lens

I just received my Fenix LD20 in the mail this afternoon, and after playing around with it for a bit, I discovered that the glass at the head of the flashlight is loose, and can rotate freely and wiggle in the housing. Is this the way its supposed to be? Perhaps this is actually a plastic covering? Did I get a defective light?
 
I don't see it maintaining its waterproof integrity like that. I'd say you have a problem.
 
That is definitely a defective light. I would return it to where you purchased it and get a replacement. If you keep it and send it off to Fenix for warranty repair it will be gone for weeks. Fenix lights have served me well but I've heard some negative stories about their warranty service, mostly pertaining to how long the turn-around is.
 
It shouldn't do that!Contact the dealer you purchased it from and explain the problem.Make sure and get the name of the person you're talking to and tell them you want a new light.When you send your light back make sure and get delivery confirmation.It's a great light.

You received a defective light. I'd send it back to the dealer and ask them to replace it with a good one.
