I don't have one yet.

I thought a clicky tail for the P1d was on the way (like the aftermarket thing someone is making), but the P2D is actually like a L1D CE with a body tube for a 123a. I like this better, because the L-series heads have the turbo mode option.

They also have a P3D CE (uses 2 lithiums) with 160 LUMEN output. Wow.

Also note the optional accessories here:

I suspected, but this confirms it. The P2D tube will fit the L1d, so you can just buy the new body tube if you already have the L1d CE (and get the same output as with a L2d CE tube).

EDIT:
I would say something like "this is the ultimate flashlight EVER," but that's what I moronically thought when I bought the P1d CE. :)

Yes, the P2DCE tube can be used with the L1DCE/L2DCE heads: they are all the same head. If I had money to blow I might pick up a P2D tube for some versatility on my L2D, but I am already waiting on too many lights to even consider that right now.

Just a note of caution though, the P3D uses different circuitry in the head... so don't put the 2x123 body on a L1DCE/L2DCE/P2DCE head.

Hope that isn't too confusing :D

I would accuse Fenix of having too many flashlights, but I probably have more than they do.
