(sorry for the poor words)

I have a P2D that I love, but I've been experiencing P3D envy lately. It's hard to argue with 215 lumens, especially at $60!

Just picked up a L1D - very impressed with both the light and the customer service at Fenix Tactical in T.O.:

I have the L1D also and I cary it everywhere. low battery usage and I love the strobe on it. kick ass

been jonesin for a P3D Q5 for sometime now...bout time to pull the trigger on one! great pics!!

I think Fenix lights are GREAT !! I couldn't decide which ones I liked best so I went a bit overboard and bought these:

P3D
P2D
L2D
L1D
T1

All have the newer Q5 CREE LED's.

I tried the Olight flashlights but somehow they just weren't up to the quality of the Fenix.
Maybe it was just the ones I had that were not that good.

I think I might try some Surefire flashlights but they seem to be over priced.

Does anyone else feel that you get a much better value with the Fenix lights versus the Surefire ?

The only thing I don't like is the on/off button .I think it's too deep.If your finger is to big could be hard to operate.

You do have a point. But I guess I'm lucky that I haven't experienced that issue.

Order placed for a P3D Q5 with the fancy diffuser tip...

You guys really suck.

You bet sir. Sold a G2 Nitrolon to finance getting me a L2D Q5. Best Light purchase I ever did since I bought my first Mini Mag in 1990. Size wise they are great for EDC. Always carried the G2 in my EDC bag. My Fenix is always with me since I got it.

You can't beat the value of these lights. I just wish they would last for a good 3 years or even 2 considering these are China made. But so far mine fell down a flight of concrete stairs and all it got was a small nick and still works perfectly.

Jnyiri: Don't worry about poor words, worry more about not having enough of them. Do you have any thoughts or experiences with your new light? I've been wanting a P3D for a while now, but it's going to be hard to convince my wife I need a $60 flashlight. So is it as good of a light as it seems?

It's a very nice light.I like it. If your finger to big could be hard the operate. The light waterproof and brake proof. Tell your wife this light still cost half the amount then the Surefire. I will take some pictures of the button.

I wouldn't worry about that. Chinese-made doesn't always mean crap, and if there is an exception list, Fenix is definitely on there. They easily match the build quality of lower-to-mid-end Surefires.

Fenix P3D surviving 6-hour immersion, 1/4 mile drag on stony ground, 1/8 mile drag on pavement, 3/4 mile drag in mud, then 1-1/4 more mile drag on pavement, up and down the sidewalk. It not only remained working, but remained waterproof. A Surefire G2 subjected to the same treatment leaked.

The Surefire T1, sustaining a 10-ton crush force.
