Has anyone had any experiences with these lights? I just ordered the 2014 editions in both as I lost my last light that I used daily, just a little microstream. Any experiences you guys could share would be helpful. Thanks!

Both are great lights. I gave my 35 to my father who now lives in Ecuador. He was amazed at how such a small light had so many function and brightness. Lots of lumens on high.

I keep a 05 bye my bed, my wife loves it, small compact, reliable, but still can give a good light for the size.

I can give you my takes on the PD32 which is basically a lower power 35. Its an overall good light but I don't like the secondary switch for mode changing which is why for my new light I am looking more at Eagletac. I don't think you will be disappointed in the 35 as long as the secondary switch doesn't bother you.

The secondary switch was the only thing I disliked about the models but I was impressed with the power of it so I figured I would give it a try and if I didn't like it the worst case would be to list it on the forums for a small loss. Thanks so far for the info guys I'm more confident in my purchase now.

I replaced an E01 with an aluminum E05 (with lithium cell).. the E05 has more practical light output... it has been on my key ring for about 1 1/2 years and still working well... I like the simplicity and durability of a twist switch

I bought the e05 with the intent of finding a pocket clip that would work with it. I read somewhere the fenix ld01 clip would work but can't seem to find just the clip for sale.

I've been buying Fenix lights since they first came out with the P1 (used to buy from David Chow directly when he was a Fenix dealer long before he started 4Sevens). I've got the PD32 and PD35UE which are probably my two brightest flashlights. I too dislike the secondary switch and wish they'd stuck with the single tail switch. All in all I've been very happy with Fenix lights though. I've got a couple E05s but honestly haven't used them much, too dim to carry for me. I use a 4Sevens Mini MLR2 as my backup EDC light. Lumapower IncenDio V3 has been my main EDC light for the last couple years as I stopped upgrading my Fenix PD32 and older lights when they added that secondary switch.

I forgot to suggest, if you're looking for an AAA light, try something like the iTP A3 EOS which is a 3 level twisty light that puts out around 100 lumens now I think in their latest version. Maratac makes a comparable AAA light also. Both are comparable in size to the E05 but much brighter and have 3 light levels. They also come with both a pocket clip and keyring attachment.

My pleasure, glad to help but I'll be the first to admit that I haven't really researched lights in a while (I've been happy with what I've been using for the last couple years) so am probably not aware of the latest greatest available.

Have had an E05 on my keychain for a few months now. Great little light. Just got one for the wife last week, in fact.

My mistake, I've got a couple of the E01 lights, not the E05. I bought them a couple years ago and put them in various BOBs, etc and haven't looked at them since, so forgot which ones I have.

I will have to toss a few pics up when they come in. I researched them for a few hours before I made my purchase so I think they are going to work out well.

i have hade the PD35 for 6 months and love it . put some electoral tape on it so u can use both hands when needed . im steel on the batters that came with it and it is bright .
