After watching an old (still great) movie, Road House, read a review from back '89.
"... bar owner Kevin Tighe, who wants to make his dilapidated road house safe for yuppies and ferns"
My question is — what ferns? who did they call ferns? or was it actual ferns, like in "fern bars"?
was it irony, you know, yuppies and ferns, same way I'd mention hipster and vanilla raf coffee
