Ferrrk / Framelock in Ti. Where is Ferrrk

He's on the USN forums (usualsuspect.net) though I believe he's taking a break and stopped taking orders. He convered an A100 for me a while back

if you want a Ti framelock conversion you could send it to STR. i dont think he is taking orders right now but in the next month or so he probably would. you could always talk with him. he makes his framelocks out of .160 Ti if im not mistaken, it is a very strong framelock. good luck
 
FerrrK is not taking orders right now. We are all hoping he will begin again soon.
 
i have contacted Ferrrk twice by email,
and i did not even get an answer.

with his skills, i would right away start my own custom knife
production.

i doubt ( but of course i dont know ) that he will be back.

no modder comes close to his work, but if you just need the Ti framelock, contact STR, i have 2 of his pieces and they are
PERFECT !
 
I do not have one of ferrk's works but I do own an STR conversion,spacer, and lowrider clip on one of my emersons and I can say STR does very nice work. He is also very friendly, helpful, and professional. As soon as STR starts taking orders again I'll send in another knife.

Wow, sorry to hear that about Phil, he is definitely a good guy!

Sorry for being dense, but who is STR? Also, could anyone point me to some pictures of their framelock conversion? Anyone have both and could do a compare and contrast?

STR is out of commision for a couple of months also. He emailed me soon after I opened this thread. When he gets back its all good. :thumbup:
 
Phil did some work for me a few months ago. He is very sick and only taking very basic jobs. Framelock conversions are not what he considers basic. Give him until the summer. If he is up to it, he will let me know.

Reese does a great job, but he is VERY backed up (he owes me three knives). Everyone is busy now.
