I wanted to share a knife that I received from Elliot of Ferrum Forge. If you aren't familiar with them, look them up on YT, they usually post a fairly long 'saturday stupidity' video weekly.

The Radeon is a knife that is made from the leftovers from Elliot's knife runs, so the steel type will vary based on what he is using for his current run. I think there is about 5 or 6 of these made and he just sells them directly to previous customers of his.

Anyway, this particular example has a sweet bronze anodization with, what seems like, a light scotch brite finish on top of it. If you have handled one of his Pretiums, you know what I am talking about. The blade steel is m390, hardened to 61-63. It had a very unique, light acid stone wash finish with his maker's mark, the blade material and date hand etched on to the blade. There is also a fuller which makes for a great 'thumstud'.

It has Jake Hoback's rolling detent and the action is quite smooth. What is notable about the action is that it is quite quiet, despite how fast the heavy blade flies out. There is also very little recoil.

Anyway, If you want to check out some pictures and a video, check them out here: https://www.icloud.com/photostream/#A4GfnH8tG6cuCz

Simply amazing for "leftovers". Love the shape!

This particular one has the most detail in it, 3 of them are just plain ti and the other was anodized with some mill work. I am quite pleased with it. Thanks for looking.
