Well, I did it. Just when I thought I was a member of the INFIcoot club for good, I traded the thing away for a 40GB iPod. So, now a Bandicoot or an INFIcoot is top on my want list again! I just couldn't pass up a good deal for myself. Anyway, before I traded it I made a few sheaths from 0.09" Desert Camo Concealex. They're posted in this thread if you want to have a look. If someone wants all three of them in trade for a new Bandicoot, I'd do that, too, although I'm not sure what you'd do with three sheaths!
I think they turned out nicely. The retention is a little on the light side for what I like, but they offer pretty decent retention with really easy draw/replacement. I wouldn't hang this sheath upside down, for sure! You can tighten up the draw weight with a hairdryer, but I guess I was tired of plastic sheaths that require 180 pounds of pressure for the knife to release, so I went the other way with these guys!
If you buy one and you don't like it I'll give your money back, so you can't lose. I will try to get pics of the three remaining ones up soon so you can see what they look like. Current pics are just of the model, but it's sold already. Thanks for looking, and if this post isn't cool to be in the Swamp then I hope a moderator slaps me silly!
