mostly case and buck with the odd victorinox
and a few old worn knived above, one being a browning I believe though the blade a=was broken and replaced with an awl

please excuse the poor pictures,my favourites would be the buck 110 from 2002 and the two case lockbacks one cooperlock and one guarded lockback commissioned by john deer

Nice knives! Having found blade forums that collection will quickly quadruple. What part of Eire? Just curious, if I'm being too nosey just disregard the question.

the west of Ireland mayo to be exact,I think I bought that swiss army champ in 97, the buck 110 in 2002 and the two nice cases in 2005 iirc

I believe I've been there (about 28 years ago). You mentioned not being able to get case knives in Ireland in your intro thread. Still you have a few, did you acquire them in trades or bought new and shipped to you? There are a ton of great people on Bladeforums and especially so here in traditionals. I would call them generous and helpful. My wife would call them enablers. Have fun!

cheers ,its a nice country in summer but winter is not great! buck knives can be bought over here but case are impossible to find unless you purchase them online

Nice county :) Welcome to Traditionals

What's the clasp knife, and what's that next to it?

Jack

im guessing your talking about the knife that resembles a barrel,I think its made by browning, the original blade is long gone and the name is worn off mostly, the other darker knife with the large awl i believe may have been a british army issue knife and iirc has 1945 stamped on it, i believe its a common knife over here, they have both had a hard life

Thanks for the info. More on clasp knives here:

squazy; welcome on board.

You have a nice collection of good looking knives.

well ive given up hope of finding a t bose lockback whittler for a fair price so im now on the market for a similar quality whittler or 3 blade stockman case knife but I cannot find any dealers remotely close to Ireland, are there any online shops I can purchase such a knife?

Modified the post. The original has been moved to <wanted to buy>

At this point, Anthony is seeking an on line store which will ship to Ireland.

I like the top one in the first picture, what model is it?
Also, nice massive Victorinox!

I'm not sure of the model of the bigger case but I remember being very disappointed by the finish on the blades hinges but the steel is good,I didn't buy another case knife for a long time after that one,Ive never found a sub standard buck knife or victorinox for that matter
