Nice pix. Didja get a good hike in? Looks like the weather treated you well.

Yeah the weather was perfect today ! The trails were like rivers though from all the rain we have been having ! My buddy had some trail running shoes on and his feet were soaked, LOL !!!!!:D

Is that a plantation forest shown in the picture with the dog and the power lines?

You know, if somebody had said that picture was taken in New Zealand I would have believed it.

As always, I appreciate pictorial posts like this. Thanks.

It's a capital region park ! Yeah our climate is very similar to yours eh !

That first pic is so clearly an island shot, just awesome.

As much as I love looking at pics from other places, there isn't a place I'd rather live than here in BC:D

Sure is a nice place. Lots of beautiful wilderness. When I was much younger I spent maybe a few weeks in and around Chilliwack. Unfortunately this was before I really knew what I wanted to see and learn about so I didn't make the most of it.

Here's an off-topic question (sorry) for you British Columbians. I am interested in varieties of apples. I have heard that the best tasting apple in the world is called d'Arcy Spice. I understand that it may be a species grown in your area. Ever tried them? If so, are they as good as rumoured?

(Mr Moderator, the above question could be leading up to an on-topic question like is a Busse Battle Mistress the best knife for peeling these apples in a survival situation? )

Thanks.... Coote.

Beautiful! I love our region.
Thanks for sharing. Now I'm going out to enjoy it for a couple days.

Nice pics, Pit. Odd to being seeing that this time of year, compared to what it looks like outside here all the time.

Nice pics, Pit. So you pussed out on taking the knife shots. :) I know what you mean, other folks don't get us sometimes.
