hi everyone, been reading for a while but finally signed up. Have a few questions that I'd love some thoughts on...

1) Current lineup is small but growing...bm griptilian, spyderco delica, leatherman charge tti, and a bk2. I've been looking for a smaller fixed blade but having a tough time deciding. I know there have been a number of threads on good small fixed blades but I haven't seen much about Buck Omni Hunter and Buck Alpha Hunter. I like their look and I was looking for another stainless blade. Any opinions on these? BTW my pricetag is under $75.

2) On my bk2, it didn't come out of the box too sharp but I also haven't had much luck with my lansky system making much improvement. System has worked great with the S30v leatherman and the 154cm on the grip. Anyone else have this problem? Was thinking about sending it back but would rather fix it myself if possible.

3) Finally, looking for another longer fixed to complement the bk2 beast. Same deal, under $75. Was looking at the bk7, bm ckII (I guess I can spare the extra $10), the good ole Ka-Bar (though not a huge fan of the double guards, I think I'd prefer just one side like the ckII).

Sorry for hitting all of these at once, just been on my mind for a while!

Thanks!

thanks for the links. I don't have a strop but I guess one of these days will have to get around to it. Was hoping though I could get the job done just with a stone.

I have the Nimcub II by Benchmade. The overall length is slightly under 8" with a 3 1/2" blade. I picked it up on Ebay NIB for $80.
