Few questions

Hey guys, only had my RC4 for about 5 days and am set to order another RAT. I have some questions. Any help would be great.

I have 2 more weeks to be home, before I go back to school, and I'd like to order ASAP so I can get them home before I leave. Unfortunately, the black Izlua kits are sold out at NGK (my preferred online knife shop), which leads me to my first question. Jeff, when do you expect the dealers to receive the next batch of Izulas? I think I heard the next batch will ship around January 5?

My back up to ordering the Izula is the RC3-MIL. My questions about the RC-3 MIL are: Does it come with a MOLLE back, MOLLE locks, and boot clip? the rat cutlery website says it does, but NGK doesn't specify that it comes with it (the picture on their website has one on the sheath however). The second question is about the length of the RC3's handle. Is it about the same length as the RC4s handle? I would assume shorter, but I'm not entirely sure.

I'm not sure what I'll do. I'll end up with both eventually (Izula and RC3), but time constraints are making up my mind for me for now. I plan on EDCing this blade, and using it for all kinds of outdoor tasks as well. I think that covers my questions for now. If I come up with more, I'll ask em here later. Thanks everyone.
 
RC-3MIL comes with everything. Handle length is the same as the standard RC-3 and RC-4.

Not sure on next Izula deliveries since we are devoting all of our time right now to the SHOT show that starts mid-January.
 
the RC-3 MIL makes me spray my shorts!! yes I am now done.
but I can't order now cuz my last two knives were RC-3 RC-6
I must make the wife understand that an RC-3 in each hand you have better balance.

But that would limit you to just two! Better to convince her that almost every empty space in a backpack, in a vehicle, in the work shop, etc. needs to be filled with a knife. ;)

almost every empty space already has two knives,the problem is
I only have 3 rats.:rolleyes:
 
Well Exidor, that's why I'm scooping up as many knives as possible now. Not married yet. But, way things are headed with the lady friend and I, could be a couple years away from it.

My wife likes knives I've been buying strong for the past ten years,
for christmas she passed her ccw and recived a glock 19.
in her pointing out the obvious she compares it to that old star trek
rerun (the trouble with tribbles)I'll still the RC-3 just not right now.
but as for you scooop now while the scooping is strong:cool:
 
Sounds like you've got a pretty good wife there Exidor. I think I'll turn out ok, I think I'll turn my girl into a gun/knife lover. She's never been shooting before, or carried a knife, but she often asks to hold my guns (pistols mainly), and whatever knife I'm carrying. And slap me, but darnit i like watching her handle them :D
 
Is the MOLLE lock that comes with the Izula kit the same size as the MOLLE locks that come with the RC4?

thats just how it started for her,she likes guns more then knives.
she would hold them &
I would bring up maybe we should go the range? a few months passed
and when she brought it up about going to the range,I was cool on the outside & going crazy on the inside,thats when we went shes been hooked eversence.so be cool and wait for her to bring it up then pounce.:cool:
