I'm about to send my some what small collection of knives to the US (only about 30 knives), most are pretty standard/plain production pieces that have sentimental value but others like my spyderfly I'm guessing is something different.
What types can not be shipped to the US? I read bali's cannot and much like how I got it into my current residence I'll probably have to ship it in 2 lots. But what else do US customs question besides autos and bali's? handle materials? country of origin? and does anyone know if my US police issue (carbon steel, nickel plated smith and wesson) hand cuffs are legal to bring back with me? I'd like to make my permanent move to the US as easy as possible without downsizing my knife collection considerably.
Thanks for any info and tips/hints you can give.
