So I've been using my Fat FBM a lot recently but would love it if it was more forward balanced and tip heavy. I've just found the balance to be a bit neutral for me. Don't get me wrong it chops like a beast I just think a little tweak here or there could make it a BEAST. The only ways I know to do this are:
1) Skeletonize the handle
2) Taper the tang
3) Remove material from the handle such as with the tongue removal on the SAR4's
4) A combination of the above.
Has anyone done this to a FFBM? If so how did it effect the blade's chopping, handling, overall performance etc?
Thanks in advance.
