Any expert advice on how to fix this? It isn't that serious but it annoys the shift out of me like a pebble in my boot

It's a little roll. Easy to get out. Use a smooth butcher's steel to polish it out. If you don't have one of those, use a large screw driver shaft or something similar. Failing that, an old trick that works well in the butcher biz is to strop it on a piece of glass.

Edit - awesome knife BTW :)

Hahah I thought about that right after I looked at my glass coffee table , I'm looking for my glass cutting board now , does it matter if the glass is smooth? My cutting board is rigid

Just strop it on a steel or the like backwards. It will straiten right out.

Did you reprofile the edge or did you purchase it like that? The reason I ask is because it is a very thin edge for a chopper. Not factory IMO. The thinner edge toward the tip makes me think someone used and edgepro or the like on this one.

On choppers, I prefer the convex edge. It offers more durability.

.

Bought it like that and beat it up , my other ffbm is convex and I beat it the same it doesn't roll. I think it's time to give beef a call

Glass worked very well, still some very small groves but nothing like before, whats the next step? :)

Glad the glass worked for you. Perhaps a gentle hone on a fine stone of some sort to finish the edge off.

OR you could do this for a while...

Then sharpen it and repeat. :)

I smoothed it out with a ceramic high grit, it's a tad uneven butn100xs better then before, atLeast all the dents and dings are gone , tyvm for the pointers

Love the video
