I traded one of my CGFBMs for this FFBM (Urban Crinkle blade & Red/Blue G-10 Magnum handles):

And, a spine shot with the entire knife:

I've got one of those, but you make it look so nice!

Thanks for the knife pics, but I'd really like to see a pic of your light box. :D

I don't use a light box. This was taken a while ago, when I had a crappier tripod, but the lighting is still the same:

Also, that's the blue background material that I usually use when photographing handguns. I find that a marbled white cardboard works best for knives.

Awesome pics as always Ken!

So how many FBMs does that make for you? :D ;)

Thanks for sharing your great pics!

what is that....a toy sword on the floor to the right of the blue chair? looks like a house plant slayer to me.

That is a plastic katana that my daughter got from somewhere. It has long since perished. Plastic doesn't really hold up well to excessive chopping, you know. ;)

Maybe it is time to take a revised studio photo...

Great pics....as always:thumbup:

Do you shoot most of yours at f16 or smaller? Knew you must have some strong lighting to get the depth you do.

This one was shot at F/32, and the exposure time was two seconds:

That's the only way to get adequate depth-of-field, especially at that angle for an object that is sixteen inches long.

Beautiful pix...
I have one just like it getting pants over at Rainwalker's right now...
I plan on trying to hand rub/shape the G10 a bit... and then make it my 'daddy chopper'...
