I just obtained another DF from one of our own here. I has sold mine off a while back and regretted it ever since. It's just one of those blades that I have really taken to. I love the forward balance and, although I usually prefer micarta over res-c, the handle on the DF feels perfect to me. Well the generous HOG also sent me an FFBM to drool over for a bit. All I can say is... Well let's just let the pics do the talking.

The dogfather is a big beast and one of the best values for the money out there for a big chopper. The FFBM is simply a even bigger beast and it is INFI so whats there not to like

Wow, never seen them together -- thanks for the great comparison pic.

Looking forward to a performance report!

I had the Dogfather with me on a camping trip last weekend and really gained a lot of respect for that blade. I know we'll see you put it to use soon and I as always, look forward to your posts.

Dont have a DF but I plan on getting an LE if the Yard lets one out of there. Let us know how they handle there Tyrkon.

You bet.

No testing yet but I did fondle them quite a bit last night. After handling the FFBM I think I will get an IWB sheath for the DF. :p
