Just got a new white spyderco dragonfly and I was wondering if you would consider the knife ffg when it has those small slices off the side of the spine like that. I also wanted to know if anyone could recomend something good to clean the white frn with. It came out of the box already tinted kinda tanish brown....which disappointed me.

Try scalding hot water with some soap and a toothbrush. The hot water will quickly dry and the knife will be like new. Dry it off and put a dab of oil on the pivot afterward. Just like new.

Yes, it is full flat grind, it just has a swedge on the spine to reduce drag in deep cuts. I have yet to find a chemical that bothers FRN, so feel free to use whatever industrial cleaner you favor.
