I own quite a few ferrum forges and have never but once been able to get the knife apart because of the terrible pivot design they use. The femail portion of the pivot keeps spinning and because it doesnt have any way (torx or screwdriver) to keep it from spinning they just wont come apart. Anyone hav3 this issue and does anyone have any remedies? Its pretty disappointing that with $500-600 knives such a terrible and non user friendly pivot is used. Any help is much appreciated.

Mine has always come off super easy, maybe push your thumb up on the female portion to pin it against the back side of the scale and use the torx on the otherside to unscrew it?

Open the knife and engage the lock. Then unscrew the pivot screw. If that doesn't work, bind the pivot tube - while open, push the blade towards the lock scale to pinch the pivot in place and tighten. Repeat the same procedure when reassembling to keep the pivot tube from spinning.
