Hi folks,

Just received the "go-ahead" from Andy to post this here, so I wanted to give everyone a heads up that I will be sending my 12" Fiddleback Machete to Jeff @ RainWalker Creations: http://sites.google.com/site/rainwalkercreations/ For those of you who know him, you know his sheath's are works of art. For those of you who don't, Jeff is a great guy to work with and he puts out extremely high quality leather and kydex sheaths.

If you have a 12" Machete that is in need of a sheath, and don't want to bother sending yours to a sheath maker....this is your chance to take advantage of mine being in Jeff's shop. I've read a few threads requesting some Kydex benders to support the 12" Machete, and here it is. I have personally decided on a leather sheath, but I'm confident that Jeff would be able to make a fantastic Kydex sheath for anyone in need. He did express concern to me that the handles may not be exactly the same on every Machete...I'm curious how much deviation there is from Machete to Machete? Jeff can also do some exciting custom work.

Hopefully this helps a few folks out that are looking. If not, well, I'll be sure to post up my sexy leather when I get it back from Jeff (or, maybe Jeff can post it up once completed) :D

Just a quick update. My knives shipped out out to RainWalker today, so Jeff should be receiving them soon.

I decided to send him my Arete also...just in case anyone wants to take advantage.

Best,

Thats really cool. I hope Jeff posts here about the machete and the process. Jeff, feel free to sell your stuff here.

Just sent him an email. I've got a nice leather sheath for mine but I'm trying to trim some weight off my pack. Last couple o weeks my back has been pretty sore when I come home.
