Fiddleback Bow Legged Chopper Vs. Traditional Hatchet?

How does the bow legged chopper stack up against the traditional hatchet or belt axe? Fiddleback's chopper looks like a good mix between a hatchet and a chopper style knife. Thoughts, speculations, opinions, pros/cons? I'm trying to figure out my perfect kit and input of any kind would be appreciated!

I am thinking (just thinking, I don't own a BLC) that the shape of the BLC eliminate some of the shortcomings of a standard chopper. For example, I would guess that the forward weight of the FiddleBack wold lend it well to shaping wood (for, say, a paddle or somthing), and most choppers aren't so good at that. I am an axe person through and through, but, if I had to replace my axe with a chopper, I think the BLC would be a great option.

Or ya could get a Knatchet !

The BLC looks like a real nice chopper but you could buy an axe, machete, Laconico knife and a Max-ped bag for about the same money.
