As some of you avid FF fans know I was fortunate enough to win a Talfuchre sheath for my FF Bushcrafter blade. I am sorry to say that I have been very slow when it comes to posting this but personal matters had to be attended as a blade like this and a sheath like this deserved a proper writeup.....
I decided to take some comparison pictures with a Bark River Fox River as it is the most similar blade I got at the moment. I is also a good comparison sizewise as its a fairly easilly attainable and common blade.

As recieved for Talfuchre............first impression: Sweaty hands, shaky legs and and pulse

Nice deep brown with even stiches

To different leagues.... The Talfuchre has a perfect fit being custom made for this particular blade. Ride height is pretty much perfect for th outdoors in arctic conditions

Tals dangler setup is easily removable and although I usually prefer dangler I know I have a choice. The Sharpshooter tends to poke my guts when Im sitting down.

I usually carry both these knives when Im out hunting. I use the Fox river for skinning and gutting, keeping the blade in my pack. The FF is on my belt as my primary blade, being used for everything else including food. Usually a folder is also available for more mundane tasks.

I'd say that the BR Fox outcuts the FF with its full convex vs sabre grind with secondary bevel, handle ergonomics is however something that the FF blade easily wins.
Edge retention is in my opinion fairy similar, with both needing a minor stropping to keep them razor sharp. I am slowly working towards removing the secondary bevel on the FF.

FF with a couple of friends September 10th (grouse hunting season opening up)

Blaxe Orange hats off to Andy and Tal for being the craftsmen they are................

Please not the difference in the welts on the 2 sheaths. On the Sharpshooter it actually makes insertion difficult as the blade has to pass along the welt. On the Talfuchre there is a notch on the welt that clicks into the guard on the blade. Adding security as well as preventing overinsertion
