This is one for me that I am getting around to posting pictures of. I spent a LOT of time with the knife before making it a sheath. A lot of time making the edge 'mine' with the convex. Andy's steel and heat treat are spot on on this blade. It is easy to sharpen - but takes maintains and edge very very well.

8-10 ounce leather
Sun tanned (needs a little more tanning) and finished with Mink Oil (just a little) and Montana Pitch Blend.
Edge dyed.

Good job looks nice to me, especially the pic of it hanging on your side. It looks to be very well made.

Cannn youuu dig it? wow. beautiful. very well done talfuchre. thanks for the pics.

I like it too. I keep kicking around getting one...and then discussing the philosophy of life and the knife with you.

Thanks guys. I am proud of this one. The knife design, the relationship with the maker and this board - and this one is one I think has no real flaws. It is in that 'Al Stohlman' simplistic design that is SO HARD to do.

I am very happy.

It's a good feeling when you look back and feel that you nailed it vs. man, wish I would have done ...
