Hey everyone. I am a newly minted member and it's all because during my lurking I got turned on to Andy's knives. I recently picked up a Nessmuk from KSF and have been bitten hard by the bug. I picked the Nessmuk because it was different then anything else I owned and figured it would be great to use/experiment with as a camp and trail knife this year. Now I am in need of a nice sheath. I have searched and found Rick Lowe does some designs specific to Fiddleback knives, but curious if anyone has other recommendations to share. I am not sure how to post pics yet without another account. Working on that…

Thanks again!

Rick does great work. I'd highly recommend him. Knifeleather, wildmanh and bonafide (usernames on here) all do great work. Do some searching for nessmuk sheaths in this forum and you should see some different designs from the makers I've mentioned. Good luck, you can't go wrong here.

I've got some of Bud's (Bonafide) sheaths and they are top notch. Not sure if he has something already sewn up, but make sure you put a firesteel loop on it. :) The Nessie is one of my favorite patterns. It's just a cool shape in a utilitarian kind of way.

Scroll through the pages here and maybe search Google images for Fiddleback Nessimuk and I'm sure you'll get lots of ideas.

If you're looking for a 100% custom, then Rick Lowe or Heber (wildmanh) are great choices. I have a sweet dangler rig for my Camp Nessie courtesy of Rick Lowe.

Bud (bonafide) no longer does custom work but he is pretty good about listening to peoples' requests. Bonafide usually posts his sheaths every Tuesday in a sale thread here in the Fiddleback subforum.

Thanks for the props guys, but I will not have anything for a Nessmuk available this week. All the other sheath makers recommended are skilled craftsmen for sure.

Hey 20, I can set you up, send me an email at CondosLeather@yahoo dot com.
thx!
Mark
