I've got some kind of strange condition since I bought my Bushboot...I can't stop snacking

I find myself taking the knife out of it's sheath at random times throughout the day and admiring the blade. Within seconds, I'm scrounging around the refrigerator looking for things to slice up.

Salami, Summer Sausage, Kielbasa, Banana Peppers, Jalapenos, Cheese, Pepperoni, Pickles, Celery, Carrots

I can't stop eating since I got this knife LOL

I know what you mean Led. When you have your fiddleback on your hip, you find every reason to take it out and slice and dice. Once the patina starts up, you're constantly wondering "Ooo I wonder how cutting this and that will help patina my blade?" Leaving your fiddleback in the kitchen keeps you from using your readily accessible kitchen knives.

Interesting. My Fiddleback to Food ratio seems to drop when on a buying spree as does my weight since all funds are diverted to sharp objects rather than sustenance.

Only kidding. Cool stuff man, at least you are cutting up those snacks in high style now.

Yep, I found myself slicing a stick of butter the other day and thinking that exact thought - "I wonder how that will add to the patina"

Boots,
The condition you speak of is Bushboot Fever. Mistwalker has it too, but causes him prolonged walks in the woods as well as the trips to the cupboard. Someone posted up a cure... Buy another model and that might work, though it is a long shot.

I'm curious as to why there are not any pics of you cutting up the snacks you speak of.

Just busting your chops a bit. Sounds like you found the knife that fits you, congrats Boots.

Yeah, pics or it didn't happen.:D

And I can't figure out this pic posting routine to save my life. I've posted 4 pics in various threads on this forum and it's been different every time.

Eat healthy? That's crazy talk LOL

Here are some snacks for tonight...a little shaved onion, summer sausage, sardines and saltines. Dash of hot sauce and all is well :)

If you guys get a chance to try these Reese sardines, they are pretty tasty...Skinless and Boneless for those that are squeamish about such things :)

ETA: Side note for the younger gentlemen amongst us...If you're eating shaved onions, sardines and hot sauce as your night time snack, don't expect a lot of warm female companionship that night LOL
