That's a good eye. Thank you sir.

It's definitely thicker than 1/8, and Andy doesn't do a lot with 3/16 so I'm guessing it's 5/32. The color of the flats suggests O-1. This is an older one, really wish I had the money to snag it.

Wish I was fast enough to snag anything around here, lol. Apparently it's already gone. Just for the record, would I be guessing correctly that this one predates the skeletonized tang? If you happen to know...
Thanks again.

I'm pretty sure it predates the skeletonized tang. Looks like it goes back about three or four, maybe even five years. It's been a while since Andy used that type of pin.

Did Aeromat tell you it was sold?

Yes, he emailed me back and said it was sold. He also said he changed the title to reflect as much. I just assumed I missed it. But it looks as though it's still available according to the thread, right?

Yes but for close to that price you can grab one on Friday or the sale thread here! Patience grasshopper!

The pins and the Maker's Mark are clues that it's an older one. The pictures show only the spine mark of "Fiddleback". I assume the butt has "Andy Roy". The current mark is "Fiddleback by AR" on the spine. Going WAY back I believe it was "Fiddleback" on grind.

Pretty Bushcrafter.

Looks that way to me yes. He probably edited the thread in the exchange but forgot about this one. I sent him a pm asking about it.

Yep, it's been cool watching his style develop to where it is today and the changes that have come along the way. Very pretty Bushcrafter.

Yeah I hear ya. Good advice. I've been looking for awhile and always try to pull the trigger too late. I work every other Friday, so very little chance this week. Kind of a bummer. I thought it took forever to score an SFNO from Busse...but that was easy comparatively. I've been eyeballing the FF's for at least 3 years, finally narrowed it to 2 or 3 models and now, well, running low on the patience lol
