Hello Folks,

I have had the pleasure of dealing with Rick Lowe, Talfuchre, and Heber Ellsworth (Wildmanh) here on Bladeforums in securing sheaths for my FBF knives. I cannot say enough kind words about these gentleman and their skills. They each offer very unique styles and their craftsmanship are outstanding. Their communication with me during our business dealings was prompt, courteous, and thorough. Now I have not met these guys nor do I prosper from any of their businesses. I am just really pleased in dealing with them and their products. Hats off to you gentleman!

**Folks, I have a correction. I am not sure who made the sheath that came with the Bushboot. I assumed it was Andy who made it but that assumption is mine and nothing more. I am sorry for causing any confusion. Thank you ErichM for providing some helpful insight concerning this sheath.**

The photos below show their work. I hope you enjoy.

Mark, I think the bushboot sheath is Bandido (R. Fetner). Nice comparison! Thank you.

Ahhh...thank you EM. I think I'll make the correction. Sorry folks for any confusion I caused.

Mark - thanks for the great pictures from all the different perspectives. I chronically forget to add something to give a sense of scale and appreciate the rule and the marked mat to help draw comparisons.

Hi Shamr0ck, I am glad to hear you found this information useful. Andy is one talented knife maker who offers an outstanding selection of knives. Who can resist? :)

I have noticed that you have quite a nice collection of 3-Finger Joe's and your photos of them are wonderful too! Yes, very nice indeed. Take care.

Mark this is a great thread to go along with your Fiddleback Family shots. It's really good for folks to see what is available in sheaths to go with their knives. As with many things, choices are good! If everybody liked the same thing, Andy would only have to make one model.:)

Mark, another good thread showing off some good work. :)

I love how this shows off our distinctive styles and purposes. For the money a Heber Pouch is a GREAT value and looks to be a sheath that will be serviceable for a few lifetimes. I offer a slightly more customized pouch sheath and Rick has even more customization and tooling - all distinctly different from both Heber and myself.

I plan on going back into the sheath business (making one or two a week) this fall and will love to sell them here. I also love when someone says "I am looking for X" that I can guide them to other makers that do a great job in making those sheaths on THIS board. Nice.
