I just have to post something on this knife.... I just got a production Fiddleback Forge Camp Knife with custom handles off the Fiddleback Fleamarket.... WOW! WOW! WOW! What a huge piece of CPM-3V goodness! I have always loved Andy's Camp Knife, and I own a couple; but this knife???? WOW! The profile feels like a much bigger and heavier knife that it really is. You could do large chopper tasks with this profile, or delicate smaller chores such as cooking, whittling or even cleaning trout as I have in the past with Camp Knives. Anyone who does not have one of these in 3V needs to consider what they are missing! I just called Rick Lowe for some leather as nice as this knife deserves! Fiddlebackers, this knife needs nothing, PUUUURRRRFECTION!

Man, I'm glad you like it Will. The production camp knives are so much lighter than they look. That 3V is the shit too.
 
Funny timing as things are slow as hell in the shop today and I just randomly decided to do this with my Camp Knife.

That one was a looker for sure. I was kicking myself for not jumping on it right when I saw the thread. I am glad it made it your way and you are enjoying it. After getting a production kephart and duke, I am looking forward to trying out the production camp knife. I see one in my future soon!!!
 
Ah good; in case 3 is too many, I would gladly relieve you of your black-blue-black Camp Knife and join it with 3 of its brothers. :D
