Fiddleback Forge Production Kepharts now in stock at USA Made Blade

Whitty I believe these are 1/8" stock and not 5/32" correct? I have a custom shop Kephart and the s35vn steel on these is phenomenal.

And please, someone save me from that sweet custom shop Duke there!

I just ordered a mid-tech kephart and a bushfinger from Whitty to see which I like best.

Kephart wins hands down. Thinner blade and thicker scales. This wasn't even close and only took about 30 seconds to decide. Definitely my new favorite knife, absolutely perfect and exactly what I've been searching for the past few years.

I just got one in 2nd hand and all I can say is the Keppy out of all the production models I've used hands down Keppy all the way.

Welcome to the Kephart club, it's an amazing knife.

thanks, I think I may have to sell my custom Kephart now because I don't think I'll ever carry it again since I'm not a collector. I may order another mid-tech one from Whitty this week for my wife. If you haven't handled one, you're missing out.

Thanks for posing Whitty. I love the Kephart. Good design, thin steel, nice point. Its a hard one to beat in my lineup.

That's my feeling about the Production Kephart as well. I liked it so much I now have one in black, one in natural, and a custom shop version with coffee bag burlap, black bolsters and liners.
The scales are beefy and fit my hand perfectly. The thin and pointy blade shape is very versatile. Another huge plus is the lanyard hole placement. It's pure genius.

Hmmmmm, all good points but no matter how cool the hidden lanyard hole is, it's a whole level below the bullseye.

btw, apples and oranges ;)

Not for function, just eye appeal. However the quality steel makes up for that. This is definitely not to take away from the beautiful heirloom knives that Andy builds, because I own some as well. I'm saying this is the perfect everyday, all weather, hard use knife design built, IMO.
