I love making knives for you all. Thanks to everyone for supporting Fiddleback Forge. Its an amazing feeling to do this for a living. Fiddleback Forge depends on y’all, and we hope you love the tool you buy from us.
Hi folks, Ken here. Well, this has been a slightly unusual week for us. Andy is up enjoying a few well earned days off up in the mountains with his family. And I, Mr. 9 Fingers, cut a tendon in my right hand, had surgery, and am set to begin physical therapy next week.
We have a smaller batch of knives for you this week, lucky 13 in total, 5 of them being Bushfingers. All of them beautiful, hard working knives. We have 1 of the hand forged curly Q knives we did at Trackrock last weekend. There should be more on the way next week, and we’ll keep a couple for the table at Blade Show. Carl Rechsteiner was kind enough to give Andy a piece of Black Locust wood that made its way onto the sole Hiking Buddy this week.
Please quote the whole description in your post when you shark a knife. This keeps me and Ken from having to scroll back and forth while we sort out the mayhem. Failing to do this won’t mean your call doesn’t count, but it really helps.
Ken and I have decided for now to make international shipping $40 flat. That covers 90% of the shipments. When it goes up and we get upside down we’ll change it. This should make it more simple for overseas purchasers to finalize payment.
The steel this week is 3D Spalted 01 steel.
Payment may be made to Paypal, or by personal check or MO. I hold all personal checks until they have cleared. This usually doesn’t cause a delay because they usually clear before shipping day.
Attention!!! The paypal address is: fiddlebackpayments at att dot net. Please describe your purchase in the payment notes.
