As always, my first priority is to thank all of you. Fiddleback Forge depends on y’all, and we hope you love the tool you buy from us.
Well it is working so far. Your support is making Fiddleback Forge a real provider of jobs. We appreciate it! This weeks knives are some kinda wonderful. AND, the new etching machine is boring the signature deeply into the steel. This is a BIGtime upgrade, and something I’ve wanted to be able to provide for quite some time. I have posted a picture of it below.
Even though we are growing, please be sure that every knife that has my initials has been hand ground by me. Also, the handle shapes are mine alone. Honestly, right now I have my hands in every process. But I wanted y’all to know that I’m not marking knives with my name that aren’t made by me.
We have upgraded our marking ability and the mark is now etched deeply in the steel.
The prices this week are without sheaths. I am lucky enough to work with Rick Lowe and Heber Ellsworth for my sheaths. The make beautiful sheaths that really compliment my work. I appreciate your support for them as well.
The steel this week is 3D Spalted 01 steel and CPM 154CM.
Payment may be made to Paypal, or by personal check or MO. I hold all personal checks until they have cleared. This usually doesn’t cause a delay because they usually clear before shipping day.
Attention!!! The paypal address is: fiddlebackpayments at att dot net. Please describe your purchase in the payment notes.
Shipping is included within the US. Ken has taken over the shipping department and he got the packages out on Tuesday this week. He is also doing the packing and wrapping, which had been getting done by a part time helper. I think the packages this week were as good as when I used to do them myself or even better maybe. There is going to be a special e-mail address for all questions or concerns regarding shipping. I’ll give that out next week. Please help us help you by describing your purchase in the payment notes section.

Two G10 Handled Knives, Woodchuck and Hiking Buddy. These knives have a small aesthetic flaw in the scales. Its one of those things we can’t see till the knives are done. They come with the promise, and are 25% off regular price.
The Seconds Promise – I know I am buying a knife with a non functional flaw, and though the satisfaction guarantee still applies, I buy the knife as a user and promise to never sell it or give it away.
You can see here that the glue didn’t cover the entire surface of the mating pieces, and it leaves little trail looking things at the edge. It is cosmetic only.
2013 1025 019 – Hiking Buddy, Jade over black g10 with a blue g10 pinstripe, SFT Tang, Convex on 5/32” thick 01 steel - $170SOLD
