How Fiddleback Friday Works

The rules are quite simple. Once the knives post, the first person to the checkout process gets the knife. There are no limits to how many you can buy. However, it may take you longer to put 3 knives in your cart than it takes 3 other people to checkout with only 1 knife. Unsold knives will stay here until Thursday of the following week. They will still be on the site listed with other https://fiddlebackforge.com/collections/handmade

Shipping

Our checkout accepts both PayPal or credit cards. In the USA, there is free USPS First Class shipping for any order over $150. You can pay to upgrade to Priority Shipping during checkout if you'd like to. International is up to $50 USD per order for USPS Priority International Mail. Rate depends on country. We ship next business day after purchase. We ship Monday-Friday unless there's a national holiday or something unforeseen occurs.

Wow, there are some cool looking scales from the top view! The thick liners on the Bullfrog, the banana creme on the Leuku, the Dewcarta ... nice!!

That Woodsman is flippin sweet. I'm not balking at the price and know there's cost, and time and materials in it but that's been my main holdup on picking up my 1st Woodsman all this time. And that red/black one is gone from a dealer site now. But that green combo is killer.

Annnnnnnd now the AC is taking a dump and needs a replacement within the next week. Not an option to go without that in south Texas.

I kinda did so many thick liners that I got sick of it. I need to break them out again.

Gratz MT - beautiful wood burl on that knife (was initially my first choice of this weeks' offerings). Went for the Woodsman here - pricey, but loved the emerald green ash/doublemint/lime combination of the handle and the blade size on this model. (I believe this is the first FF knife I have purchased with a blade above 4 inches length).

Woah congrats on the Woodsman! That thing is awesome. I had to snag the handyman to complete my Fiddleback mid-sized burl-wood trifecta: patch, hiking buddy, handyman.

You'll be surprised how useable it is for a big knife!!

Andy,

Looking forward to receiving the Woodsman and have no doubt that I'll find it very functional. At present my long-bladed knives are all kitchen oriented - 2 Chefs knives, boning knife, and 2 Blenheim Forge knives - 8.8" Gyuto, and 10.6" Sujihiki. I would have thought that along the way by now, I would have also added a dedicated fillet knife to the mix - but at present, that purchase has yet to be made. I know from some forum postings that the Woodsman has positive reviews as a being a kitchen favorite but my intention is for this Woodsman to be my 'go to' user knife, outside of the kitchen, save for my EDC. Also looking forward to seeing the performance of the 8670 steel.
Most of my purchases thus far (not all!) have been with natural handle materials (wood, bone, etc) - a personal preference (though some of the micartas (ie: the crosscut/starry night ) are starting to appeal to me!). The skill of incorporating these natural materials into a custom knife with an extreme high level of quality, fit , and finish is a craftmanship art form that I truly respect. It is a pleasure to be able to purchase these fine products for both personal collection and use.
Regards - Gary
