Andy’s note - My good friend Geoff Royal passed away unexpectedly this morning. Its tragic. Geoff was my age and has two kids that are my kids ages. He and I coached softball together for years. He was twice the quality human I am. He didn’t know this, but I always use Geoff as a lighthouse to keep myself off the rocks. RIP my friend. I will speak your name every time Alabama plays LSU and remember you.

Big Knives – This weeks Woodsman came dangerously close to ending my career. The knife got pulled out of my hand while polishing the spine. It hit the horse stall matt flooring, and bounced sideways into my leg. It actually stuck right into my bone. There is a big tendon and artery right there that it missed by a millimeter. No way the business would have survived my recovery. I have never had an injury hurt this much. I had to pull the knife out of the bone before continuing to work. Yikes!
