OK guys. As you know Dylan and I are getting ready to head out to Kentucky to enjoy ourselves at the Guild Show. I'll be trying to answer questions, but I will be doing it on my phone, so I'll be using short messages. So without any sidetracking, lets get this show on the road.

I'm all out of sheaths this week guys, but Heber and Rick Lowe have patterns for all of these!!

Shipping is included within the US.

First up today are two gorgeous Hunters. Thats my opinion of them at least. I hope y'all like them as well. The first one is guardless and has Wenge over natural canvas scales. $300 shipped. The second one is white linen with three layered liner, white and natural, and a curley cue. $325 shipped. The steel on both is 5/32" thick 3D Spalted 01.

Another curley cued beauty is up next. This gorgeous Woodsman has stabalized Walnut scales. The walnut was harvested by my Grandad from his property after an ice storm. Stabalized at WSSI. The steel is 5/32" thick 3D Spalted 01. $340 shipped. I do have a pretty Rlo sheath for this one for $50.

This Ironwood Recluse is really pretty. It looks a lot like the old dud that I kept for myself when I first made the Recluses. The steel is 5/32" thick 3D Spalted 01. I hope someone enjoys it a lot! $250 shipped.

One Bushcrafter and one Bushfinger this week. Both knives are ground from 5/32" thick 3D Spalted 01 steel. The BC has Bloodwood scales and black liners. The BF has Bocote Scales over black with a whitewall. Either knife is $250 shipped.

Two Kepharts are available today. I'm really stoked about this model. Hopefully a user gets one and will review it. The knife sings to me. Both knives are ground from 5/32" thick 3D Spalted 01 steel. The first one is Natural Canvas over Natural Canvas. $225 shipped. The second one is stabalized Lacewood over natural canvas. $275 shipped.

Ohmycrap...this batch is looking so hot...I've got to call dibs on that Lacewood Kephart. This is the one for my wife!!! It is too pretty to pass up, and I was thinking that the Kephart might be just enough knife for her while not being too much for her to handle. Do you have any sheaths available for the Kepharts yet Andy?

Also you'll have to remind me because I have forgotten: it's an extra $10 for shipping to Canada, correct?

The worst part is because I'm buying this for her it means I have to pass on one of those Hunters for myself...my goodness they are hot. So gorgeous. DOES WANT! If someone doesn't grab that Wenge Hunter quick (and I'm sure someone will) I might just have to ask ol' Mr. Visa if he can take another one for the team...

Pveiled, it has a beefy handle on it. This might not be the right fit. I'll hold it for you till I hear. Please post here and let folks know if it is still avail.

You got it bro. And an e-mail about the Arete.

When you say beefy, how beefy do you mean? Is it about the same size a Bushfinger handle?

About the same size as a beefy bushfinger handle. The Bushfinger listed above has a much thinner handle. 3/4" vs 7/8" at the swell.

** FOR ANYONE WHO IS INTERESTED, THE LACEWOOD KEPHART IS STILL AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE **

Yeah I can see what you mean in the pictures of the Bushfinger and Bushcrafter in today's batch. It appears that the Kephart scales are closer to the scales on my Bushfinger, which are the "beefier" kind vs. the sleeker scales, and my wife specifically said that knife felt a little too bulky in her hands.

I guess that I should pass on this AMAZING knife and give it up to someone who it's more suited for. Thank you for your warning and your guidance Andy, very kind of you to look out for my best interest rather than just taking the sale. I'm sure that one will sell in a heartbeat anyway :)

The Lacewood is absolutely stunning and I KNOW that my wife would love it, so maybe we'll see something a little smaller come up with a similar handle configuration sometime before December. I know I'll be chomping at the bit ready to buy if it does!

This is an incredible batch Andy. Absolutely incredible.

Mark

Couldn't agree more. Every last knife is stunning IMO. Congrats on scoring the Kephart Mark; I hope you enjoy it and please let us know what you think about it once you've got it in your hands!

I have a Bushfinger and an Arete on the way and am looking forward to trying them out. I assume though, I will have to try out the new Kephart too one day :-)!
Nice batch Andy!!

I was not quite aware of the different handle thickness. Can you tell Andy whether the handles of the Bushfinger and Arete I am getting are on the beefier side?

That is one wicked looking Bushfinger in Bocote. I'm lovin' the the grain pattern on that one.
The Kephart in Lacewwod is sweet as well. I think that's the next model on my list.

Andy, your Grandad's walnut came out great! I'm sure you've made something with it for yourself, yes?

Agreed. The Woodsman is not my favorite blade profile but man that particular one is super sleek. Dark Walnut is one of my favorite woods but it does not stand up to the weather very well so you don't see it used in this application very much. Stabalized Walnut is something I've never seen before, but I'm sure that knife is going to be one HECK of a user and I KNOW that it is a serious looker. Absolutely wonderful. I hope we get to see a little more of that Walnut in the weeks to come :)
